As a member of the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) we follow the most stringent, safer recruitment practices.  As well as meeting every teacher in person, the following checks are completed before a teacher can express interest in roles:

  • DBS  (including overseas police checks if more than 3 months outside UK in last ten years)

  • Right to Work (most often through a UK passport or VISA)

  • All ID documents are verified in person with the candidate

  • Qualifications (where applicable)

  • Two recent references which we check directly - one will be the most recent employment

  • CV for ten years, without any gaps

  • No disqualification (we check this along with teacher qualifications)

  • We verify the teacher's address

  • We ensure that the teacher is fit and ready to teach

  • We personally interview all our teachers

If you have any questions at all, please call us on 0330 122 6629.
